Midwest and Russia

Midwest and Russia located on the large territory therefore climate is similar. This cold in the North and hot in the South. There is snow in the winter. The state of Minnesota in Midwest and Republic Karelia in Russia (I live 6 month during year in every) have similar nature. There are many lakes and forest. There are industrial and agricultural areas too. There are 12 states in Midwest and 15 Republic in Russia. But in Russia there aren't prairies and praries dogs, but are steppes and a lot snow.

    I think that it is very interesting you writing in this blog. I would like to know in the future Russia, in special I want to know the prairies dogs. Lidiya please do you tell me how is in December Russia?

    Lidiya, I'm glad that you decided to compare Russia with the Midwest region of the US, because it is interesting to hear a comparison like this from a person who has lived in both places before!
